  • Max revision allowed : ~

  • Payment should be done before the mix starting

  • Retake after the mix finished would be charged an extra fee, so please check your raw lines carefully before hand them to the mixer

  • mixing will be finished within 7-14 days for duo or below

  • You can request any effect for your vocal

1. I will only start working on a commission after I have confirmed the tracks and received the full payment from the invoice.
2. If you have circumstances that require you to split your payment that can be discussed.
3. Please make sure to prepare your tracks according to the track preparation outline I have described below.
4. For original songs or commercial projects, please contact me before you place your order.
5. You are not required to contact me first for non-commercial covers, however I may message you to confirm details or ask for any missing files before accepting the request.
6. Feel free to contact me through Twitter, Discord, or email if you have any questions or would like any clarification before you place your order.
7. Feel free to ask for updates on the status of your commission at any point.
8. When using the mix please make sure to credit me as KaKenka and link to my YouTube channel and/or TwitterTRACK PREPARATION
1. All vocal tracks should provided in mono .wav format, and any overlapping lines should be in a separate file.
2. Overlaps do not count as a separate track in pricing.
3. Please make sure your vocal files are roughly timed to either the instrumental or reference track. (this means your vocal stems should be aligned to either the ref track or instrument when I import them into my project file)
4. Please label your tracks clearly with the vocalist name, song title, and vocal part. (for example: “Kenka-Prologue-Main1” or "KenkaPrologueMain1")
5. Please make sure to provide the on vocal/reference track & instrumental tracks in the correct key and same bpm that you have recorded in.
6. I still accept vocal tracks that are peaking/clipping, but as these distortions still there, that will affect the quality of the final mix.
7. I usually do not ask for retakes so please make sure the tracks you send me are your best takes.REVISIONS
1. There is no limit on revisions, please feel free to ask for as many changes as you see fit so that you can be satisfied with your final mix.
2. I will not actively ask you for retakes, however if you wish to retake anything yourself after hearing the tuned & timed wip feel free to let me know.DEADLINES AND DELIVERY
1. Please let me know if you have a specific deadline you would like this by.
2. If you do not have a specific deadline I will aim to finish the mix within 1 or 2 weeks for solos/duets, 3 weeks for trios and choruses at the latest. (depending on the total no. of vocalists)
4. I will send 3 separate wips for confirmation before finalising the track: first after the tune/time stage, second after the mixing stage, and a final one after the mastering stage.
5. The final mix will be delivered to you in a folder containing 3 files: an mp3, a wav, and an a cappella.USE
1. All stated prices are for non-commercial use only.
2. If you intend to use the mixed track/s for commercial purposes you will be subject to an additional fee.
3. Commercial purposes refer to cases such as the audio being used in monetised videos, being distributed onto monetised platforms, or commissions from clients belonging to corporate organisations.
4. Mixes used for non-monetised videos will not be required to pay a commercial fee.
5. Commercial fees may vary depending on the project, client, and/or usage.REFUNDS
Refunds are not accepted after I have started working on a mix

Notes

  • Maintain the distance to your microphone to avoid the room echo

  • Clipping is forbidden. (to check if there’s clipping on your lines, in Audacity, go to view + show clipping)

  • The amplitude should not be too high or too low. Don’t get too close with the limit and don’t be too small. This is an example for the recommended amplitudo level limit.

  • Recheck your lines before handing it to the mixer. Retake if you find any vocal crack or heavy noises.

  • Put the overlap part to a new track (DO NOT Overlap your track).

  • Do not use any effect or processing on your raw vocal (such as noise removal, compressor, EQ, etc).

  • Render it as mono track, with format WAV - 16 bit or 24bit (24 bit is preffered for better quality)

  • Put all of your lines (lead voc 1,lead voc 2, harmo voc), on and off vocal on a same folder then save into archive file .zip or .rar

  • Upload it to your cloud storage such app.box or google drive.

  • Please keep in mind that the final result is depend on your raw’s quality as well (the microphone you use and your singing.) Do your best to singing on the right tone, key and timing.
